Opened in 2021, Gitano Beach opens right out onto the ocean and offers patrons stunning views of the rocky shore.

Because it is located in a semi-alcove, this is one of the most secluded of the best beach clubs in Tulum. As a result, you’ll feel a bit like you’re on a private beach.

You also enjoy a killer breeze on HOT summer days as you relax and cool off with one of their refreshing Mezcal cocktails.

Then, after spending the day relaxing on the beach, you can head a bit further down the beach to Gitano Beach’s sister establishments for some delicious food and evening fun.

In fact, Meze is an amazing Aegean Tavern that serves up some of the best Mediterranean cuisine this side of the Atlantic.

Don’t get me wrong, they have plenty of alcoholic options, but their mocktails and smoothies are some of the best in Tulum! I particularly loved the sweet avocado smoothie.

Yeah, I deffo ate my body weight in pita and hummus more than once.

I will say the seating here wasn’t my fave. It’s mostly hard benches and some floor cushions, but the ambiance, friendly wait staff, and tasty AF food and drinks more than makeup for it!

As you roll up to Coco Tulum, the first thing you’ll undoubtedly notice is just how white everything is.

Yeah, their ALL white (okay, off-white… sand-colored, really) decor (with a smattering of blue) is kinda their signature look and certainly does a good job of invoking perfect beach vibes!

Plus, I love the variety of seating options available at Coco. Because you can go for anything from loungers and bean bags to beach swings that overlook the ocean.

Coco is also part of the Coco Tulum Hotel, which provides luxury accommodations for guests.

Heck, on the property there’s even the Zen Zone, which functions as both a wellness center and a separate hotel.

However, despite being part of one of the top luxury hotels in Tulum, Coco is still one of the more affordable best beach clubs in Tulum.

Coco also has an on-site pizzeria and Italian restaurant, Juanita Diavola, which serves amazing brick oven pizzas and even does a more traditional Mexican breakfast menu too.

Ok, everyone, this might be the most modern and newly-furbished of the best beach clubs in Tulum on this list.

See, when the pandemic hit, Papaya Playa Project decided to go underground, lay low, and come out stronger on the other side. And boy, have they ever.

They have also been reborn. Yeah, their word, not mine. So, it’s all super dramatic!

So, what you now have is a leisure space that is designed to be the perfect mixture of comfort, nature, and ocean views.

Plus, everything here is beach-chic, and so well designed that you’ll start to think that everything was here even BEFORE people started to visit!

Now, the natural balance theme continues in their kitchen since Papaya Playa Project uses sustainability and locally sourced ingredients in all of their dishes.

Ahau is one of the best beach clubs in Tulum for eco-friendly travelers, and their associated resort is very eco-conscious too.

In fact, the name of this place actually comes from the Mayan Sun God, Kinich Ahau, which means “universal consciousness”.

They are also dedicated to sustainability in everything they do and the resort offers eager guests environmentally-friendly rustic beachfront cabanas.

And like the resort, the beach club too offers comfy seating and amazing sunset views. But, the TRUE showstopper of this beach club is the entrance!

So, if you’re looking for some truly fantastic photographs to remember your trip to Tulum, Ahau is a must!

And as you enter Ahau, you’ll be greeted by one of the most amazing entrances: a large wooden sculpture of a person opening their heart/chest to you.

Yeah, it’s a stunning work of art and worth visiting just to see it.

With a minimum spend of $70 per person, Nomade is one of the most high-end of the best beach clubs in Tulum on this list.

But with a great minimum price comes a great experience! And because this super chic beach club is part of the Nomade Hotel Resort, the whole place is pretty darn swanky if you ask me.

Now, the folks at Nomade use a “holistic approach” to design. So, their spaces for relaxation are very organic and blend into the environment really well.

They also don’t skimp on the menu either since you’ll find tons of high-quality fish dishes, yo.

So, expect to find entrees featuring lobsters, clams, shrimp, freshly caught sea bass, snapper, grouper, and hogfish by the gram in their restaurant!

And to accompany your meal, Nomade offers a good selection of blended juices, smoothies, and cocktails.

In particular, the Mexican Goji-Mango smoothie and the Hibiscus Punch cocktail are exceptionally delicious and refreshing!

Ever wanted to head into the jungle for a delicious healthy breakfast that is the best breakfast in Tulum? If the answer is yes, then Raw Love Beach club is where you need to be.

With its chill hippy vibes and shaded canopy (that shares its amazing entrance with Ahau), this is a great place to start your day and build up your strength for any adventures ahead.

As you might have guessed from their name, Raw Love is big on nature and getting back to basics. So, following this ideology, their restaurant – the Raw Love Cafe – is entirely vegetarian!

As a result, they have a huge amount of vegan dishes on offer, with everything being gluten-free and super healthy.

So, fresh fruit juices, açai bowls, raw chocolate (powerful stuff!) and more can all be had here.

You can even add a whole bunch of superfoods to any smoothie you want, to give you that much-needed boost in the morning after partying the night away.

Villa Las Estrellas is also located right next to Ahau and has a very relaxed atmosphere, complete with great views throughout the day.

So, guests here can relax in the shade under a thatched-roof umbrella, or grab one of their double beachfront recliners and soak up the rays!

However, at night, Villa Las Estrellas becomes one of the best beach clubs in Tulum for those seeking a good place to party and dance.

Plus, the on-site Mexican restaurant serves food all day, including breakfast, making this an easy pick for one of the best Tulum beach clubs of them all.
