If you are planning a trip to Italy then a stop in the Amalfi Coast is an absolute must! Seriously, this place is next-level pretty and totally exceeded my admittedly high expectations.
However, many people opt to try the best tours to Amalfi Coast from Naples since they are short on time.
Yeah, there is just never enough time to experience all the awesomeness that Italy has to offer.
I mean, I have been to Italy dozens of times at this point and I still have in no way, shape, or form seen it all.
That’s why when I came to Naples for a day for the very first time I tried one of the best day tours from Naples to Amalfi Coast.
Yes, the trip felt a bit rushed. But, it gave me a great overview of the area so that I knew exactly where to go when I returned.
Since then I have done a bunch more tours and want to share with you my picks for the best tours to the Amalfi Coast from Naples.
This way, you can plan an amazing trip and see as much of Italy as humanly possible.

Not gonna lie, I am more than a little obsessed with this Amalfi Coast full-day trip from Naples. Now, no, you won’t get picked up from your hotel.
But, the pick-up location is easy to find and the staff is awesome. They do a really good job of making sure everyone gets to where they need to be.
Then, you’ll get whisked away by bus/coach to Positano. Once here, you’ll enjoy a guided tour with a pro-local guide before having an hour to walk around the narrow, cafe-filled streets.
My fave part though was getting dropped off at Amerigo Vespucci Square so that I could admire epic views of the beach.
“Wow wow wow! What an amazing tour. Obviously, the towns and cities of Amalfi are beyond beautiful in photos but just wait until you see it for yourself. The guided tour was helpful with bits of fascinating history sprinkled in and gives you a good overview of each town. Now that I’ve done the tour though, I’d rather go back by myself to my preferred towns. It was helpful since the drive is quite treacherous and we got to see so much of the coastline. We were lucky to travel in November as I couldn’t imagine navigating the drive or even walking through the towns will the sheer volume of tourists that arrive in peak season. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.”Taylor (read more reviews now)
You’ll then hop on a speedboat tour to Amafli that is followed by a decent lunch in Amalfi (Think sandwiches and water so nothing fancy).
FYI, both are optional and are on offer for an additional fee. But, yeah, I thought they were worth it. Otherwise, chill in Amalfi and don’t miss the chance to visit Sant’Andrea Cathedral.
Afterward, head to Ravello and take an hour on your own to grab a gelato and check out the 13th-century Villa Rufolo before going back to Naples after one of the best Amalfi Coast tours from Naples.

|Only visit three locations and some stops can feel rushed

|The guide gives a good overview of the area
|Lunch is fine but just sammies/water

He explained and made us aware of all the important aspects of the places and route we visited. His driving skills were impeccable and I felt safe. His demeanor was professional All the best to him for his future. If I have to visit again, I would look for Francisco to drive.”Devika (read more reviews now)

“Max was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic. He had such rich knowledge of the area and its history and was able to inform us of this all throughout our drive. We stopped on route to a Limoncello shop just outside of Sorrento which was wonderful. In terms of the Amalfi Coast, Max stopped for one hour at Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. We were able to have a walk around each place and got to enjoy its beauty. Ravello was by far the most idyllic, the gardens there are a must!. We started off with Pompeii where we were offered a guided tour by a different tour guide and then we continued with Arianna to Amalfi via Positano, a wonderful tour indeed. We stopped at 2-3 spots to take photos and arrived at Amalfi for lunch. Our lunch was included but it was very basic and we did not like it. However the scenery and the tour made up for it! We definitely recommend this tour but could do without the lunch.”Tatiana (read more reviews now)

Not only did he expertly navigate the insane traffic of Naples, he just as expertly navigated the crazy, winding roads along the Amlafi coast. And he taught us SO much about everything we were seeing as we went. And to add to that, he treated us like family. Traffic and the windy roads aren’t fun, but Massimo made the experience so much better! Unfortunately the weather was a bit foggy and very hot, but we still loved experiencing the Amalfi Coast.
