It is also home to one of the best hotel views in Barcelona since they have an amazing rooftop terrace that features an outdoor pool, a bar, a restaurant, a lounge, and binoculars for your viewing pleasure.
The viewing platform even has a circular shape that allows for unobstructed birds-eye views of Barcelona.
Now, if you want to use the pool, you will have to be a hotel guest.
However, the terrace itself is open to the public from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am during the week and then until 1:00 am on the weekend.
Just be sure to arrive early and grab a seat on a table or bench so that you can enjoy one of the best sunset views in Barcelona.
But, if you want to spend the night, book s stay inside sleek, modern rooms with coffeemakers and flat-screen TVs. You’ll also get access to a sauna and on-site gym.
2. Palau Nacional Rooftop
Nestled atop Montjuïc, the Palau Nacional is an amazing place that sits right in the heart of Barcelona.

Then, once you’ve entered Park Güell, you’ll have the chance to explore a forested area, which offers breathtaking views over the city from Three Cross Hill (it’s the tallest spot in the park).
Just don’t leave without visiting the monumental zone. It’s home to famous Gaudí works like the Plaça de la Natura, the Escalinata del Dragón (Dragon’s Steps), and the Sala Hipòstila (Hypostyle Hall).
4. Eclipse Bar
Tucked away inside the fancy W Hotel, The Eclipse Bar is a luxurious and modern space that features epic views of Barceloneta Beach.
However, it’s not just about the panoramas. The bar impresses with a classy and creative drinks list, although the prices are a bit steep.
So, you won’t want to visit if you’re backpacking in Barcelona. But, if you can afford a splurge then give this place a try and see what you think.
You can also low-key people watch as the rich and famous stroll in and out of this high-end spot.
Pro Tip: This bar is closed for renovation at the moment. Also, the last time I was here it kind of sucked and was not worth the $$$. But, hopefully, it gets better once they re-open.
5. Telefèric del Port
You may want to avoid this cable car if you have a fear of heights.
Otherwise, the Telefèric de Montjuïc is a suspended cable car that offers visitors a quick and easy way to enjoy sweeping panoramas of Barcelona.
See, this aerial transportation system soars an astounding 101 meters through the air. So, hop aboard at Barceloneta Beach and ride it to the top of Montjuïc.
Tickets are €9.40 per adult one-way and €14.20 per adult round trip for a quick, 10-minute ride that features some of the best views in Barcelona.
Pro Tip: I took the cable car up and then walked down to save money. However, lots of people like to buy a return ticket so that you can enjoy a bird’s eye view of Barcelona from a different perspective.
6. Torre del Collserola
The Torre del Collserola is an important telecommunications center that was built in 1992 to meet the city’s growing communications needs during the 1992 Olympics.
Today, the observation deck on the tenth floor of this structure is home to one of the best viewpoints in Barcelona.
Just purchase a ticket for € 5.60 per adult and you’ll be able to enjoy views from 377 feet in the air that extend for 43 miles in every direction.
That being said, the views here are very similar to those you’ll find at Tibidabo. This place is also hard to get to and the observation deck is covered. So, you’re photos won’t be as amazing.
Therefore, I’d stick with Tibidabo and skip this place if you’re short on time.
7. Towers at Sagrada Famila
No doubt you’ve heard all about Sagrada Familia since it is the single most famous landmark in the city.
Although the cathedral is technically under construction, it was designed by architect Antoni Gaudí and features a unique architectural style, complete with epic stained glass windows that light up the place.
In addition to its breathtaking design and intricate details, one of the highlights of a visit is the opportunity to ascend one of its two towers.
Yes, you will have to €36.00 to visit the towers (a regular ticket is €26.00), but it’s worth it IMHO since you get to enjoy views of Park Guell and the Mediterranean Sea.
Just be sure to book tickets well in advance since they regularly sell out.
8. La Pedrera
If you haven’t satisfied your thirst for incredible Gaudi-style architecture then visit La Pedrera and enjoy one of the best views in Barcelona.
This enchanting building, located in the bustling Eixample neighborhood, showcases Gaudí’s extraordinary talent.
It features a unique façade and a stunning interior – with intriguing design elements inspired by natural forms – that is enhanced by the use of vibrant colors.

The cathedral also comes fully equipped with an elevator. So, need to climb up a bunch of stairs to get to the top.
Pro Tip: This cathedral has designated free hours and paid hours. Generally, free hours are for church services. So, it is not appropriate to bring your camera and visit as a tourist at this time.
11. Casa Batllo
Right across the street from La Pedrera, you’ll find another architectural marvel by the famed Antoni Gaudi— Casa Batllo.
With its pastel hues and whimsical design, stepping into Casa Batllo is akin to exploring an exotic underwater world – except no scuba gear is needed.
The house’s architecture is dominated by a nautical theme, echoing Gaudi’s profound love of nature and natural forms.

But, the journey to Tibidabo is quite an adventure in and of itself since you’ll have to take the brown line (L7) from Placa Catalunya to Avenida Tibidabo.
Once here, switch to the historic Tramvia Blau and take that to Plaça Dr Andreu since this is where the Tibidabo funicular departs from.
Pro Tip: If you’re tired and looking for a simpler way to get to Tibidado then you can always take the Barcelona Bus Turistic here. It will drop you off at La Rotonda building on Avenida Tibidabo.

Sure, the climb up to the top can be more than a little challenging. But, it’s worth it to bask in the quiet beauty of this magical greenspace.
17. Bunkers del Carmel
Easily one of the best free things to do in Barcelona, it should come as no surprise that El Turó de la Rovira (its other name) is home to some of the best free views in Barcelona.
Once an abandoned Iberian settlement that later served as an anti-aircraft battery during the Spanish Civil War, Bunkers del Carmel has undergone many transformations.
Officially reopened in 2011, the ruins here serve as an epic viewpoint since they sit at 262 meters above sea level.
All you need to do is tackle a semi-arduous hike to the top. Just come prepared with plenty of water and wear shoes with good grip.
Pro Tip: The Bunkers del Carmel is no longer open in the evening and is VERY popular. So, I would wake up MAD early if you want to visit.
