Every time I visit Barcelona I am always surprised at how amazing the hostels are.
They are just super well-priced (for Europe) and offer a wide variety of high-quality amenities that you can’t find in other cities.
Plus, the city is known for its wicked awesome nightlife. So, you should definitely book a room at one of the best party hostels in Barcelona.
This way you can meet really cool people and experience all of the very best things to do in Barcelona at night.
I really like meeting people through organized hostel activities since it feels less awkward and allows me to experience Barcelona in a safe(r) way.
So, if you feel like I do and want to enjoy a more social hostel in Barcelona then read this post.
I share my personal experiences since I have been to Barcelona many times and always like checking out new hostels.
Just be sure to add an eye mask and earplugs to your Barcelona packing list since these places can get noisy.

1. Onefam Paralelo

⭐️ Rating: 9.4/10.0 (703 Reviews) Price: $27 per night 📍Location: Salvá, 62, Sants-Montjuïc, 08004 Barcelona Details: Read more on booking.com now!
To maintain the Onefam Paralelo’s youthful vibes and fun party atmosphere, only people between the ages of 18 and 45 are allowed to stay in the dorms.
However, this keeps activities fun and friendly as travelers mingle during nightly/daily activities and weekly free dinners. The owner is also on-site and works hard to keep the atmosphere fun and friendly.
You’ll also love the hostel’s convenient location near the Parallel metro station as well as a spacious common area, a modern movie room with Netflix, and a snazzy laundry room.
“Onefam Paralelo is such a great hostel, the staff is amazing (massive thanks to Bea, Fabio, Eoin and Jeff!). The hostel organizes great activities throughout the day, which I enjoyed a lot. Also the (free) family dinners were a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends. One thing is certain: you will not regret booking this hostel if you are looking to socialize and meet people from all over the world! I would highly recommend staying in this hostel.”

You can also get some rest in awesome 4,6, or 8-person pods that come with nice mattresses, curtains, solid walls, and personal lights.
Heck, you’ll even get your own locker and a personal outlet to help you maximize your comfort after experiencing the many unusual things to do in Barcelona.
2. Onefam Sants
⭐️ Rating: 9.0/10.0 (2491 Reviews) Price: $34+ per night 📍Location: Casteràs, 9, Sants-Montjuïc, 08028 Barcelona Details: Read more on booking.com now!
Like the other Onefam hostel on this list, there is an age restriction at Onefam Sants. This hostel is also a bit outside the city center, even though it is near the Badal Metro Station.
However, you will get to stay inside super comfy 4 or 6-person dorms that include privacy curtains, personal lights, lockers, private shelves, a/c, outlets, and more.
“Amazing hostel, amazing people, amazing volunteers, and just the best time. I HIGHLY suggest any of the OneFam hostiles if you are staying in Barcelona. You get the true party experience.”

Additionally, there is a nice laundry facility as well as a modern kitchen that is open 24/7. You can even enjoy free tea/coffee as you relax in the lounge watching TV or playing pool.
But, the best thing about staying here is the social atmosphere.
Yeah, it’s super easy to meet people since there are free communal dinners and tons of organized activities for anyone who doesn’t want to do things alone in Barcelona.
The downside though is that there are not enough bathrooms for everyone staying here. So, you may need to wait for the toilet while you’re here.

Then, after spending the night in a 4 or 6-bed dorm with privacy curtains and uber-thick mattresses, you can indulge in a decadent buffet breakfast.
Later on, use the well-equipped kitchen and prepare a meal to remember at one of the city’s best hostels.
TBH, the only thing I didn’t like is that the elevator can be slow and that there are no curtains on the top bunk. So, be sure to request a bottom bunk when you visit.
